Brittney Christian Navarrete’s Boxing Background-
At the age of 14, Brittney started training at Summit Boxing in Heber City, Utah, sparking her love for boxing. She moved to Denver, Colorado in the summer of 2007 and started training at Delgado’s Boxing and Martial Arts, and soon became a part of the Delgado’s Amateur team. She started her Amateur career in October 2008 at the Mile High Showdown event, Denver, Colorado, and She ended her Amateur career in 2009 by taking 4th in the Women’s Golden Gloves in Florida.
Soon after she had her Pro debut March 19, 2010, in Denver, Colorado, weighing in at 148 lbs., she lost to DJ Morrison in the 3rd round. Her 2nd Pro fight was June 5, 2010 in Denver, Colorado weighing in at 157 lbs., She made her come back with a first round knock out against Veronica Mahling.
Her 3rd Pro fight was October 22, 2010, Glendale, California, weighing in at 151 lbs., to fight on the Glendale Glory card as the first female bout in Glendale history, fighting Holly Lawson, going four rounds and winning by decision. After having a couple more fights Christian decided her 4th Pro fight was going to be a re-match against DJ Morrison this was scheduled July 30, 2011 in Denver, Colorado. Christian weighing in at 143lbs., they went the scheduled 4 rounds and Christian won by decision.
Her Professional Career to-date is 3-1-(1KO).
After getting comfortable fighting in the ring and coaching outside the ring Brittney Christian Navarrete decided she was ready to move back to Utah. She Opened her own gym, called BC Boxing-Boxing and Personal Training Utah in October of 2010.
